Tim Fields trophy from the Northwest Missouri Street Rod Car Show 2011
Saturday, May 21st, 2011, the Northwest Missouri Street Rod had their car show in Liberty Park at City Hall.
I got my '28 Fordor there early and went off to work. Reva & Clayton stayed there with his '72 Skylark Sun Coupe. At the end of the show, I was REALLY surprised to win an award for being one of the Top 10 cars there. They explained that the judges were given no categories, just personal preferences.
You wouldn't expect a stock 83 yr old car to be able to compete against a street rod.
My award is a testament to the work of Bob Hess & Jim Husby.

Tim & Joy Osborn's 1930 Coupe
This was a restoration from the ground up, completed in 1985 by George Osborn, my father. My Dad never entered the car in any car shows but participated in several parades and received numerous ribbons. Since we have owned the car, it's been entered in about eight shows in the last three years. It has received 3 firsts, 1 second, and 1 third place trophies. My Dad passed away last year, I'm sorry to say, but I am very proud of his accomplishments and this car is one of many.
