The first annual picnic of the Northwest Missouri Model A Ford club was held at shelter house # 2 on Smithville Lake, Missouri. 56 people attended which included several guests. New members, Scott and Slyvia Forsen were introduced by John.
Hot dogs and condiments were furnished by the club, and everyone brought their own utensils and picnic foods. Entertainment by Sammie Rhoads and his musical group of 1 guitar,1 mandolin, and 2 banjos. Great music.
There were 17 Model A’s for show. Pontoon rides on Smithville Lake were furnished by Larry Gilmore. It was a most enjoyable Day and the weather was great.
